Blogger adalah penulis catatan harian di Internet atau halaman web. Blogger ini merupakan pengguna Internet yang rajin mengisi weblog. Satu kiprah Blogger yang signifikan di tahun 2004 adalah ketrlibatan mereka dalam kampanye calon presiden Amerika Serikat. Kubu John Kerry bahkan mendirikan weblog yang mencatat kegiatan kampanye sehari-hari calaon presiden dari Partai Demokrat itu. Dalam Kovensi blogger nasional kedua kubu, blogger juga mendapatkan porsi khusus. Undangan bagui para blogger untuk meliput gelaran tersebut sempat membuat iri jurnalis konvensional.
Adam L. Penenberg, kolumnis Wired, menyebut masa depan journalisme berada di tangan para blogger. Ia menyebut sekarang adalah saatnya bagi blogger untuk mencari berita sendiri dan bukan hanya mengomentari berita sendiri dan bukan hanya mengomentari berita yang ada. Hal itu terjadi dalam bencana gempa dan tsunami yang melanda Asia di penghujung 2004. Lusinan blogger di Srilangka , Thailand, dan India memberikan laporan pandangan mata mereka tentang bencana yang melanda.

Surfer Girl with ISC (Indonesian Surfing Championship) created the first sanctioned stand alone women surfing competition in the history of surfing world in Indonesia. This is your chance to check out the super cool girl surfers and body boarders at Kuta Beach, and join the competition to score your reputation as the best surfer and to win total surfing prize IDR 20.000.000. There are 5 divisions in the competition to allow all the girls to join the competition based on their skills.
Surfer Girl Big Splash Division :
ISC OPEN WOMEN SURFING
This is the division for Pro surfers from around the world, who will compete to ride the waves and will be judged based on ISC standards (www.isctour.com). The first winner receives the first prize of IDR 11.000.000 worth of cash and Surfer Girl Merchandise and also gains points for their ranking in ISC
OPEN GIRLS BODYBOARD
This is the division for Pro body boarders to tame the waves with their body board. The first winner will win total value IDR 3.000.000 of cash and Surfer Girl Gift Voucher.
- MICRO GROMETTES (under 16)
This is the division for surfers under 16 to find the newest girl surfer who will rock the surfing world in the future. The contestant has to be under 16 years, as of contest date, and will be judged on longest ride, late drops, high points for any maneuvers, wave selection. The first winner will win total value IDR 2.000.000 worth of cash and Surfer Girl Gift Voucher.
- FIRST EVER CONTEST
This is the division for first time surfing competitors, this is your chance to show the world your surfing skill and make great history by joining the Surfer Girl Big Splash as your first competition. The contestants will be judged on longest ride, late drops, with high points for any maneuvers and wave selection. The first winner will receive a voucher for Surfer Girl Merchandise valued at IDR 2000.000.
- DADDYS AND DAUGHTERS TANDEM DISPLAY
The most fun surfing division of all! Bring along your daddy and you daughters can rock the waves and have fun together on the tandem board. The winners will receive vouchers for Surfer Girl and Blue Groove merchandise valued at IDR 1.500.000.

hey 9uyS,, u’ve gotta known the movie of night at the museum right?? still remember SACAGAWEA?? one of the actor?? if u do (or not 
), then here’s some intersting history of her.. hope u like it..
In 1805, a woman of the native Shoshone people, Sacagawea, joined the expedition. She became the expedition’s chief interpreter. She explained the peaceful purpose of the explorers when they met native peoples. She also helped bargain for horses and food. To Lewis and Clark, the West was strange, new, and sometimes threatening. They would not have survived without the information provided by the native peoples about nearby areas.

The name Pacific means “peaceful.” Is this ocean calm? Hardly. The Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan named the ocean in 1520. He had just sailed around the tip of South America through violent storms. Magellan was grateful to find mild weather when he entered the ocean, so he named it Pacific.
